Skylon Park

Skylon Park is located on the edge of Hereford in Herefordshire, and is the Marches’ only Enterprise Zone. Herefordshire is a predominately rural county, centrally located in the Midlands, offering an outstanding quality of life. The highly sought-after Skylon Park offers a wide range of development ready plots to enable the growth of higher-value jobs. Building on local sectoral strengths, the Park has a specific focus on defence and security, advanced manufacturing, food and drink production, and sustainable technologies.

The Enterprise Zone has recently opened a new £7m specialist business incubator called the Shell Store, the £9m Midlands Centre for Cyber Security through a joint venture with the University of Wolverhampton, and the New Model Institute in Technology and Engineering recently constructed Skylon Campus on the site.

A development-ready parcel of land in the Cyber Quarter is located next to the Midlands Centre of Cyber Security (1.25 ha), reserved for larger scale cyber businesses, or developers building next scale facilities for businesses spinning out of the Cyber Quarter incubation space.

There is commercial potential to capitalise on the county’s links to the Midlands, the South West and Wales, alongside local specialisms in defence and security, manufacturing, food, drink and tourism.
